Broadband Telephone (Internet VoIP Telephone)
Clearwave is pleased to launch its Broadband
VoIP Internet Telephone. This internet phone service will provide
customers the ability to use an alternative phone service provider to Telus
while still providing all the customary features:
- Standard calling features -
call waiting, call display, call answer, 3 -way calling
- choice of long-distance calling plans
- 911 service
- "soft phone" software client for
your PC, make calls from your PC without the need of a phone (additional
monthly fee of $5.95 applies)
- remote access
to voice mail via your email in *.mp3 format

Long distance plan options:
- No long distance option, typical long distance fees
apply.
- North American Long Distance (1000 minutes per
month)
- Europe/Asia Long Distance (1000 minutes per month)
- Select Calling Zones (call family or friends in
distant cities as if they were local in a number of north American markets
only)
Monthly Phone service fees as
follows:
* Standard residential internet subscribers will require
an upgrade to the premium residential broadband service
(3.0 Mbps) to ensure voice quality does not degrade. Line qualification must
be done (24 hour test) prior to installation. Monthly fee will be bundled
for additional savings.

- Home Phone / Internet Service Bundle with
NALD (North America Long Distance): 1 line, 1000 minutes of
North American long-distance included plus standard voicemail and all
calling features for $79.95. Additional LD billed at
regular rates of $0.06 per minute.
- Home Phone / Internet Service Bundle with
EALD (Europe/Asian Long Distance Plan): 1 line, 1500
minutes of North American / Euopean / Asian combined long-distance included
plus standard voicemail and all calling features for $94.95. Additional LD
billed at regular rates of $0.06 per minute.
- Second phone lines available for as little
as $19.95 / month. Call for details.

Installation fees:
- Standard Broadband VoIP router:
$65.00 (one time fee)
- Integrated Broadband VoIP router
plus wireless access point : $105.00 (one time fee)
- Do-it-Yourself install fee: $ 0.00 (if picked up at our office), $25.00 if delivered to your home - simply follow
the installation instructions and you are set.
- In-home Installation (if required):
$65.00, includes wiring to allow use of phone service at
any phone jack in your home
- In-home data wiring: $65.00 per
line.
*Customers will not be able to keep their existing phone
number outside of Edmonton proper.
*Numbers assigned will be Edmonton based. If you
currently reside in an area that is "long-distance" to Edmonton, any calls
with our service to Edmonton are considered "local calls" and will incur no
LD charges, calls to numbers in your local area will be "long-distance"
applicable, depending upon the long-distance plan you subscribe to.
